In this Deep Dish Dialogues we learned how food is used to celebrate holidays in Jewish, Roman Catholic and Sikh faiths. Rabbi Raphi Steiner demonstrated how to make latkas which can be used to celebrate Chanukah. Father Patrick Ohl and Ania Krysciak prepared krokiety, a Polish dish typically served on Christmas Eve. And Charandeep Singh Dhillon showed us how to make karah prasad, a sacred offering served to all who visit the Gurdwara. We also spoke with Sonya Wu-Winter, the multi-faith programs coordinator at the University of Guelph to learn how the Multi-Faith Resource team at the University of Guelph supports students.
